The former U18 international was keeper at FC Augsburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Darmstadt 98, SV Wehen Wiesbaden, FC Homburg and played for the Mpumalanga Black Aces in the South African Premier League at the end of his career. He then completed his business studies and further training as a club manager and started working for an auditing company. This training brought him back to soccer as managing director at FC Homburg and team manager and at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, where he was responsible for contracts, among other things. He is currently a consultant.
